By not pairing the correct mentor with the correct protege, not only can the pair not meld well, neither will benefit from the pairing. This article gives some ideas on what are not beneficial characteristics, what are beneficial characteristics, and offers some solutions for the instructor to help ensure a successful mentoring experience.
